Gorbea Natural Park and Otzarreta Forest
On our roadtrip to the southern part of Basque country, we took the scenic route through Gorbea Natural Park, where we sought the enchanted Otzarreta Forest with its mossy trees. Fortunately, our map led us astray and we saw more of this mountainous park than we had anticipated before finally finding the trees. It was well worth the extra driving, though. I hope to return one day to hike the many trails that beckoned from the edge of the road.
