Observations from a day spent closet-shopping:

• Creative color pairing and the rediscovery of shoes and accessories long buried = 30+ new outfits for $0.00

• Mauve matches everything

• Quality never goes out of style

• Letting go of items that match nothing is liberating

• Waist-cinching with a wide belt is not a good look for me

• Suit jackets take on a whole new attitude by simply rolling up the cuffs (and dusting off the shoulders)

• With the right accouterments, blouses worn un-tucked still look professional

• Skinny, boot-cut, straight-leg, long, short, stone-washed, corduroy and ripped – I own ‘em all

• I am a lucky girl to have an entire uninterrupted day of indulgent “me time”!
